No meat for Buddy Boo

Chichi went to the vet today for many reasons.
~he has very unusual bumps on  his back
~He has always been chewing on his nail until it bleeds
~and he hasnt been there for a check up in years
the Doctor said that the diet that we have been giving him is the most possible worst thing we can do for him(raw meat, vegetables, and medicine)! he said that not even the health experts say to do that. He also said that if we wanted to kill him, feed him raw meat. so we are not doing that anymore! I dont understand though because he was really sick and about to go to the dog park in the sky, so we feed him what we thought was good for him. it made him feel better right away, but i guess it was the worst thing to do. he also fractures his nail that i told you about. thats is why he always chews on it and it bleeds. so we have to give him medicine and they chopped off his nails (they were huge!!!)

poor chichi. I guess he should have enjoyed his meat while it lasted. I'm glad you guys took him in though.

i can't tell you how glad i am so glad they cut his nails!!! those things were nasty!!!

i don't understand how that diet could be bad for chi chi. i have to say that is shocking, especially since we all noticed a difference in his behavior.

i loved how you said "dog park in the sky." haha

Yeah man, that is crazy talk. I don't trust doctors, but I'm sure you don't find that surprising. They're all taught the same thing by the same institutions that kill 20% of the people and animals they're supposed to be "healing". It's all a bunch of garbage. So, on a happy note....my bum is itchy, too bad chi chi can't scratch it for me anymore...

Alright B - one of America's leading veterinarians, Dr. Marty Goldstein said this about food:

Buy pet food made with raw meat. Dr. Goldstein says cats and dogs are carnivores, but today's popular pet foods are made from byproducts of the cereal industry. The grain-heavy food is not good for the health of your animal, he says. "It plugs the system up, it overdoes the pancreas [and] it serves as a basis for allergies."
Don't feed your pet an all raw meat diet. Because cats and dogs have not been on an all raw meat diet for generations, putting them on one could be dangerous, Dr. Goldstein says. "A raw meat diet balanced with either a proper calcium supplement or with crushed bone with some vegetation is the ideal way to go," he says.
Make your pet's food at home. If you don't have access to raw meat pet food, cook meats for your animal in your home, Dr. Goldstein says. "I'm talking foods—lambs and chickens and turkeys and beef and things like that," he says.
